Island of Lemurs: Madagascar
Lemurs are fascinating animals native to Madagascar. They’re also the smallest of all primates. Interestingly, the different species of lemurs vary in size, from the smallest (pygmy mouse lemur) to the largest (indri). Many of these creatures live in trees, although some of the larger ones will spend part of their days on the ground.
Island of Lemurs takes audiences on a one-of-a-kind journey to Madagascar where lemurs originated. The film follows Dr. Patricia Wright, whose mission is to help these highly endangered creatures survive in the wild. Morgan Freeman narrates this fascinating documentary, which runs for forty minutes.
Narrated by Russell Crowe, Turtle Odyssey is a particularly fascinating film featuring crystal-clear images of thousands of swimming turtles.
The documentary highlights the lifecycle of an Australian green sea turtle named Bunji. Viewers get to follow Bunji as she makes her maiden journey across the open ocean. After maturing to adulthood, she will eventually migrate back to the same beach where she was born. There, she will find a place to lay her own eggs.
The next generation of turtles will then repeat Bunji’s treacherous journey across the ocean. Don’t miss this fascinating documentary!
Spider-Man Far From Home
Newly released Spider-Man Far From Home is the latest chapter in the Spider-Man Homecoming series. Watch as everyone’s favorite superhero joins his friends on a European vacation. While overseas, he must uncover why four elemental creatures are causing chaos and destruction across the continent. Watch and be amazed by the high-octane finale battle between Spiderman and his nemesis, Quentin Beck!
All in all, the IMAX Theatre at the Indiana State Museum offers great entertainment for everyone.
